From Rovaniemi, travel by minivan to a location hidden in the woods. Be provided you with high-quality snowshoes, specially made for deep-snow hiking, and hike for a few kilometers in the wilderness. During the day, take a break in a Teepee and build a campfire. Enjoy some snacks while photographing the Arctic nature.
Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to move through deep snow and dates back at least 3,500 years. This ancient form of winter hiking is ideal for exploring the Lappish nature and offers great opportunities for photography. Snowshoes grant access to remote areas allowing you to connect with untouched nature and take in the glorious atmosphere of Arctic forests.
The tour is guided by a professional photographer who will also teach you some tricks and techniques for your own landscape and nature photography. If you are in luck, you may encounter some wildlife during your adventure.
