Adaptation to the height of Quito and its mountains is essential, then you could ascent of Ruco Pichincha located at 4,696 meters above sea level (15,406 feet high). This extraordinary volcano is northwest of the capital and the approach is via the Quito cable car.
This hike takes approximately 6 to 8 hours to the summit of the Pichincha volcano, I recommend you to bring some snacks, water, sunscreen, sunglasses and a jacket in case of cold weather.
*IMPORTANT: The price of the cable car ticket to passenger and guide is the responsibility of the tour attendees. If you are more than 3 people just write me to have an agreement.
