Climb up the Trolltunga Via Ferrata, feel the fresh air all around as you continue to Trolltunga Dome and then enjoy the sunset at Trolltunga.
This adventure includes the best of all our tours to Trolltunga, the Troll’s Tongue. The tour starts with a 6 km hike along the beautiful Ringedalen Lake, here we transport you the first 2 km, and then we walk the next 4 km on a gravel road. After this we hiking up the amazing valley and climbing a via ferrata to the Trolltunga Plateau.
A steep but short uphill hike will bring you to the start of the via ferrata. Enjoy the view as you climb 250 meters up the rockface, helped by metal rungs and a strong cable. Finally, experience Trolltunga as the sun disappeares behind the white Folgefonna glacier.
At Endenut you’ll settle in at Trolltunga Sunset Dome, a campsite not far from Trolltunga. The guide will prepare a delicious outdoor dinner, tasting even better combined with the stunning views towards the Ringedalen lake, Tyssebotn, and Trolltunga.
Watch the sun disappearing behind the Folgefonna glacier and end the evening at the Trolltunga Sunset Dome, while listening to Norwegian fairy tales.
The next morning enjoy breakfast with freshly baked bread and the beautiful, intense, magical nature.

• The weather at Hardangervidda mountain plateau can be rough, it"s important that you are prepared according to the equipment list, and prepare with training beforehand for a hike of 10-12 hours
• You must also bring 2 lunches
• An informational meeting is held at Trolltunga Hotel in Odda at 9:00 PM the evening before your tour, it is advised to attend the meeting so that you are best prepared for the hike, but not compulsory
• Bring: wool socks, woolen thermals, wind jacket/pants recommended Goretex, running gloves, cap/hat, waterproof hiking boots, sunglasses and sunscreen, backpack, beanie/hat that covers your ears, warm gloves/mittens, dry wool socks, extra warm clothes, two lunches and snacks
• Minimum age is 15 years old
