After that, a essencial tour in Évora, starting in the firt settlers of the city the Eborones in "Alto de São João", now the journey goes to the World Heritage Site, which spans fron Roman, Visigothic and Muslim times, after that to the Golden Portugal Age 15th and 16th century. The splendour of Évora became the favourite residence of the Kings of our second dynasty Avis and the phenomenal heritage built in the city. Its cultural splendour with artists like the dramaturge Gil Vicente, the scultor Nicolau Chanterene, the painter Fray Carlos and the buildings that todays beautify the city which the great mecenas was the Cardinal-Infante Dom Henrique (later King Henry I).
