The Cathedral is an enclosure built inside the mines, completely carved out of salt. Discover the imposing architecture of this great cultural and religious heritage. On this tour, you will learn about the history, customs, folklore, and typical food of our region. You will visit the historic center of Zipaquirá, admiring its colonial architecture in places like the Plaza de los Comuneros, Plaza de la Independencia, and the school where our Nobel Prize for Literature (Gabriel García Márquez) studied, as well as the train station. There will be time for lunch (optional) before returning to Bogotá.
