This tour includes swimming holes, waterfalls, a snow capped volcano, hiking through paramos and of course beautiful natural hot springs coming from thermals. Ride on arguable the most beautiful and best motorcycle road in Colombia. Spend a day hiking through Nevado del Ruiz National Park. Visit the Amero Tragedy and learn more about the most active Volcano in South America. Suitable for riders of intermediate skill level, this tour offers a perfect blend of adventure and breathtaking scenery.

Please note: This is the coldest tour we offer. (If you want heat book our Tatacoa Desert Tour.) You will get wet, you will get muddy, you will get cold...and you will have a blast doing it. Temperature can range from 30°C (90°F) to 0°C (32°F) on this tour.

Day 1: Bogota - Girardot

4 hours and 45 minutes of riding time - 141km/87 miles - mix of paved and unpaved

-Start the day off riding out of Bogota and into the mountains
-Easy offroading through scenic mountain landscapes
-Bring out your swimsuit for a dip in some swimming holes and waterfalls
-Spend the night in Girardot

Day 2: Girardot - Nevado del Ruiz

4 hours and 30 minutes of riding time - 219km/136 miles - all paved

-Breakfast in Girardot before making our way up to Nevado del Ruiz National Park
-Visit the Amero Tragedy and learn about Colombia's worst natural disaster and the most active Volcano in South America
-Ride into Nevado del Ruiz National Park on arguably the best motorcycle road in all of Colombia
-Take a dip in natural hot springs at Termales El Sifon

Day 3: Nevado del Ruiz - Murillo

30 minutes - 19km/11 miles - all paved (unpaved optional)

-Spend the day hiking and exploring Nevado del Ruiz. The hike lasts from 7am - 3pm. This is one of the most beautiful hikes we've been on anywhere in the world.
-On the hike visit the paramos, waterfalls, a lagoon and a natural hot spring for a dip.
-After the hike you have the option of doing off-roading through the mountains with your guide or enjoying the rest of the day relaxing in the charming town of Murillo.

Day 4: Murillo - Bogota

5 hours of riding time - 218km/135 miles - all paved

-Eat traditional Colombian breakfast then hit the road
-Spend the day riding on one of our favorite paved roads in Colombia
-End the tour with beers at the Loco Moto office
