Tour the Summer Palace in the morning for around 1.5 hours. Summer Palace is the most beautiful imperial palace in China with the most beautiful imperial garden, a huge man-made lake, beautiful bridges acrossing the lake loated in the western side of the Kunming Lake and 3 islands dotted in the middle of the lake. Your guide will share the interesting stories about the Dragon lady Cixi and fate of the late Qing dynasty. The poor emperor Guangxu who was imprisoned in a luxurious quart yard house and so on.

After the Summer Palace, take a DiDi taxi to the most beautiful Hutong areas near the Drum Tower and Houhai lake. The drum tower and bell tower working together as the ancient time teller played a necessary role in the old times. You will get a bird’s eye view of the old Beijing city. After the drum tower, walk through a 700 years old commercial street to find the most beautiful Shichahai lakes where nobles and high ranking officials had lived their lives there. We will take you to visit a traditional local family to get to know the real life of the locals.
After the local family visit, we will take you to have lunch for local traditional dishes, the cost is at your own expense.

After lunch, we will show you only one of the two most famous temples in Beijing. One is the Temple of Heaven which is a Taoism temple and the other is the Lama temple which is a Buddhism temple. You can choose one of them to visit to learn the religion of Chinese people.

In the end, take you back to your hotel.
