描述

Toronto offers art, gourmet food, rich history, and vibrant nightlife. As Canada's most diverse city, its multitude of languages, flavors, and traditions make it an memorable experience.
Do you want art? Are you more into gourmet food and good restaurants? Maybe some old tales with natives and colonists? Or maybe you are coming to party all night long. No matter what you are looking for, Toronto has it all. And it is only normal when your residents are coming from all over the world, from different backgrounds and cultures. The most populated city in Canada, Toronto is a phenomenon of its own: the multitude of languages, flavors and traditions make this an unforgettable experience. Come and join our 2 hours walking tour and you will understand better what makes Toronto so unique.

Start your tour in front of the Ontario Parliament building. Next is the Royal Ontario Museum, a mixture of Neo-Romanesque to Byzantine architecture along with ultra-modern and contemporary styles. Next, walk to Bloor-Yorkville district, one of the most expensive neighbourhoods in the world and Canada's most exclusive shopping districts. After some minutes of enjoyable walking you will reach the University of Toronto, the first institution of higher learning in the colony of Upper Canada. This is the place where officially the insulin was discovered and where the stem cell research began. Close by you will reach Kensington Market, a very famous area of Toronto and the place to be. A canadian journalist wrote: "Kensington today is as much a legend as a district. The (partly) outdoor market has probably been photographed more often than any other site in Toronto." Next on your walk will be the Chinatown, a very photogenic neighbourhood and the place from where to buy souvenirs or inexpensive meals. Leave Chinatown and reach the Art Gallery of Ontario which with over 98.000 works is one of the largest museums in North America. Walk down Yonge Street, formerly considered by the Guinness Book of Records as the longest street in the world - 1,896 km and finish your tour in Yonge-Dundas Square, the very heart of the city. Here they hold celebrations, theatrical events, musicals, movies and concerts. Bustling with energy and people, this place is the perfect ending for your tour.
