A day trip to the former fishing village of Atins
This is one of the most complete tours to explore the region around
the Lençóis Maranhenses. 33 kilometers by
by off-road vehicle to Atins, an unforgettable trip
through nature on the edge of the dunes and small local
settlements.
Once you arrive in Atins, you can explore Atins on your own or with a guide. On the beach you can watch kiters and see where the river flows into the Atlantic.
For lunch you will go to a small settlement outside the village where you can discover the local cuisine (costs for this are not included in the price). Depending on the group's wishes, you can then go for a swim in the dunes and lagoons or by the sea. On the way back you can then enjoy the sunset over the dunes as the crowning finale.
