In this nature adventure outside São Paulo, you may choose between two different trails. The Jaraguá Peak trail includes the Jaraguá Peak, the highest mountain in São Paulo. The trail is approximately 2 kilometers long and leads to the top of this hill, located about 1,150 meters above sea level.
On the Cantareira State Park trail, you can walk about 3 kilometers up the mountain to Pedra Grande, where you will have one of the best panoramic views of the city of São Paulo.
No matter what choice you have, you can see the biome of the Atlantic Forest, one of the richest and most diverse on the planet. This forest is home to different species of monkeys, the raccoon-like Coati and toucans with green beaks.
