From Puno: 3-day excursion to La Paz and the Uyuni salt flat

On this 3-day excursion to La Paz and the Salar de Uyuni from Puno we will discover two very popular places in Bolivia that will undoubtedly captivate you forever.
Itinerary The company only takes care of the logistics of this trip, during the journey to each destination by bus, it does not include a guide. Day 1: Puno - La Paz Pick up at the PUNO BUS TERMINAL, the bus will leave at 6:00 am to La Paz. You must be at the bus terminal at 5:30 am. On the way we will go through immigration where you will present your documents and then we will continue with the trip. Around 2:00 pm we will arrive in the Bolivian capital. Here, while you wait for the bus to Uyuni, you will have the opportunity to visit its cable car, the most important in South America, which crosses the city from the air to the urban center (optional activity, at the passenger's expense). Afterwards you will have time to have dinner on your own and at 9:00 pm we will take the bus to Uyuni. Day 2: Salar de Uyuni - La Paz We will arrive in Uyuni in the morning between 5 and 6, a staff will be waiting for you and will take you to a cafeteria where you can have breakfast on your own. At 10:30 am we will start the tour, we will take a 4x4 vehicle that will take us to the emblematic Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt desert in the world. On the way, we will stop at the Uyuni train cemetery, a true open-air museum where you can see the first locomotives that circulated in Bolivia. We will get off the 4x4 in the town of Colchani, very close to the salt flat. Here we will see how salt extraction works and we will visit the Playa Blanca hotel, built entirely with blocks of salt, a marvel of architecture! We will stop to enjoy a regional lunch consisting of a starter, main course and infusion, and then we will go into the desert until we reach Incahuasi Island (the view of this island varies depending on the season), located in the heart of the salt flat. Once the excursion is over, we will return to Uyuni, from where our bus will depart (9:00 p.m.) to return to La Paz. Day 3: La Paz - Puno The bus will arrive between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. in La Paz, from where we will make the trip to Puno. Depending on the preference of our travelers, we offer two options: - End in La Paz, if they have flights to Lima or international flights. - Return to Puno, arriving between 5 and 6:00 p.m. Note: The service is subject to changes without prior notice, due to weather conditions (rain, floods, etc.), strikes and/or demonstrations and any other event that does not allow the normal development of the itinerary.
