Enjoy an amazing experience on the 2 days and 1 night tour to the Salar de Uyuni, we will explore places such as the Train Cemetery, the Salar de Uyuni, the Salt Hotel and Incahuasi Island.
Day 1: Excursion to the Uyuni Salt Flat from Sucre
Tourist bus trip from Sucre to Uyuni (Departure at 20:00 hrs).
Day 2: Uyuni - Uyuni salt flat
We will start with the pick up at the bus terminal in Uyuni.
Then, we will go to our cafeteria to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast, we will start the excursion (10:30 hrs).
First we will visit the train cemetery to see the old locomotives.
We will continue to the community of Colchani, the gateway to the Salar, where we will find rustic artisan workshops and the traditional processing of table salt.
We will continue to the impressive Salar de Uyuni, stopping to see the salt pans, the "eyes of the salt" and the Playa Blanca Salt Hotel, now a museum.
We will then visit Incahuasi Island, the most famous island of the Salar, where we will take a walk to admire large cacti, marine rock fossils and enjoy panoramic views from the lookout point.
At the end of our tour, we will return to the city of Uyuni.
