La Paz: Uyuni Salt Flats and Incahuasi Island 5 days by bus

Explore the stunning La Paz region on a 5-day sightseeing tour on a sleeper bus. Visit the Salar de Uyuni, Incahuasi Island, Laguna Colorada and Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve.
Day 1
09:00 p.m. Bus from La Paz to Uyuni.
Day 2
07:30 a.m. Arrival in the city of Uyuni.
Free time to buy some snacks and water
10:30 a.m. Start of the excursion to the Salar de Uyuni.
Day 3
07:00 a.m. Salar de Uyuni Tour + Eduardo Avaroa Natural Reserve.
Day 4
07:00 a.m. Salar de Uyuni Tour + Eduardo Avaroa Natural Reserve.
06:30 p.m. City of Uyuni
09:00 p.m. Bus Uyuni to La Paz.
Day 5
06:30 a.m. Arrival in the city of La Paz.

PROGRAM

DAY 1
Please go to the meeting point at 8:30 PM for check-in, then the bus will depart at 9:00 PM.
Inside the bus, enjoy the service of Dinner (Meat and Vegetarian Option), Breakfast, Bottle of Water, a Hot Drink, Heating, Toilets, Fleece Blanket, Wi-Fi and First Aid Kit.

DAY 2
Arrive in the city of Uyuni at 7:30 AM and head to our office, located 1 block from the bus station,
Afterwards free time to buy some snacks and water.
Start your excursion at 10:30 AM with a drive to the Salar de Uyuni. The first stop is the eerie "Train Cemetery", which is located on the outskirts of Uyuni.
Then visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners' workshops next to the salt flat), there you will also find crafts made from salt, and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool. These are great souvenirs to take home.
Next, visit the Salar de Uyuni: *Saltwater Eyes, *A hotel made entirely of salt that is currently used as a museum, *Flags of the world (where you can bring your own and put it there for free) and a Monument of the Dakar races.
Lunch will be served near the "Isla Incahuasi" (Fish Island), then have time to take a hike to the top of the island to see giant cacti, and rock formations made of petrified coral.
Next, take time to organize your group to take fun photos distorting perspective and proportion, on the blinding white surface of the salt flats, playing with the scene, you are sure to get fun and memorable photos!

DAY 3
Start at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast. Visit: Galaxia Caves, Chiguana Desert, Ollagüe Viewpoint, the rocky path "El Pasito Tuntun", the famous: Cañapa, Hedionda and Chiarcota Lagoons where you can see flamingos.
Lastly, enter the "Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve". Spend the night in a hotel in Huayllajara.

DAY 4
Start early, around 5:00 a.m., to visit Sol de Mañana Geyser, Hot Springs to take a dip in the 35ºC natural pool, Dalí Desert, Laguna Verde, Laguna Blanca at the foot of the Licancabur volcano.
Then, return to Uyuni having a picnic lunch on the side of the road. On the way, you will pass by the Valley of the Rocks, the settlement of Alota and the village of San Cristobal, where you can see a baroque church and colonial paintings.
Take the bus to the city of La Paz at 20:30 - Bus departure at 21:00.

DAY 5
Arrival in the city of La Paz at 6:30 am.
End of the excursion
