Hike through the Andes on afull day adventure from La Paz. Discover the Condoriri National Park, with its stunning lakes and glaciated peaks and ascend to the top of Pico Austria for panoramic views of the Andes.
Day 1: La Paz – Chiarkota Lake
06:00 Depart from La Paz 3600 Mts. and travel along the Altiplano to the Andes. Start your hike at 4,300 meters and gradually ascend to 4,600 meters. Arrive at your first stop at at Chiarkota Lake and Pico Austria 5300.
Observe the Condoriri glacier from the top of Pico Austria Summit. After this magnificent view, descend to the shores of ChiarKhota Lake and la Rinconada where your vehicle will be waiting to drive you back to La Paz.
