Discover the Salar de Uyuni on a 3-day tour from La Paz. See the Train Cemetery, Dakar Monument, and Flags of the World. Hike to the top of Incahuasi Island, and enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the sunset over the salt flat.

Day 1: La Paz to Uyuni
Meet at the bus office at 8:30pm for check-in. Depart La Paz for Uyuni at 9:00pm. Enjoy dinner, breakfast, a bottle of water, a hot drink, heating, toilets, a fleece blanket, Wi-Fi, and a first aid kit on board.

Day 2: Salar de Uyuni
Arrive in Uyuni town at 7:30am. Have free time to purchase snacks, water, and other things for your trip. Afterward, head to the office located 1 block from the bus station.

Start your tour at 10:30 AM with a drive to the Salar de Uyuni. The first stop is the haunting Train Cemetery, which is located just outside of Uyuni. Afterward, visit the small settlement of Colchani, where you'll find crafts made from salt and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool.

Snap photos as you cruise across the vast white expanse of salt, wade through the Ojos de Agua Salada, and visit a hotel made entirely of salt, now used as a museum and restaurant. See the Flags of the World, where you can bring your own and place it for free, and the Dakar Races Monument.

After a morning of exploring, lunch will be served along the way. Afterward, hike to the top of Incahuasi Island to see giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations. Due to the rainy season from January to March, Incahuasi Island is not accessible.

Next, take your time organizing your group to take fun photos distorted by perspective and proportion, on the blinding white surface of the salt flats. Finally, head to a spacious area to live the unique experience of watching a beautiful sunset over the salt flat, spreading its dazzling colors throughout the Salar de Uyuni, and enjoy it with a glass of wine.

Return to the Uyuni office between 19:15 and 19:45. Afterwards, make your way to the bus office on your own at 20:30. Depart from Uyuni to La Paz at 21:00.

Day 3: La Paz
Arrive in the city of La Paz between 6:15 and 6:35.
