Start your day with a pickup from your hotel. Meet your driver in the lobby and head to the Old City of Baku. Admire the preservation walls that have remained since the 6th century. Head to the Highland Park, the highest point of the capital of Azerbaijan. From here, enjoy a beautiful panorama of the city and the bay.

Visit the Alley of Martyrs, a cemetery and memorial in Baku dedicated to those killed by the Soviet Army during Black January 1990 and in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War of 1988–1994.

Finally, visit the Heydar Aliyev Center, a building complex in Baku designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid. Admire its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003.
