Blue Mountains: Abseiling or Canyoning ExperienceFull-Day Winter Canyoning Adventure

Discover the gem amongst the Blue Mountains canyons. Feel confident whether you're a beginner or experienced with your canyoneering instructor with you.
Choose to embark on either a half day abseiling or full day canyoning adventure in the heart of the Blue Mountains.

Half-Day Abseiling Adventure
Start with a short 5-meter abseil. If you have abseiled before, this abseil gets you back in the swing of things. If you have never abseiled before, it teaches you the technique of abseiling.
From here, head straight on to 15-meter abseils. Complete a couple of rounds to hone your skills. Then, with your instructor explaining each step, progress through to the 30-meter, adrenaline-pumping, overhanging abseil.

Full-Day Summer Canyoning Adventure
If you select the full-day option, enjoy the half-day programme in the morning and spend the afternoon in beautiful Empress Canyon. Wild swimming, exhilarating water jumps and slides, walking and wading through a unique Blue Mountains slot canyon. The grand finale is an unforgettable 30 metre waterfall abseil out of the canyon into the deep rock pool below.

Full-Day Winter Canyoning Adventure
Between May and August our full day trip switches to best winter canyon in the Blue Mountains. Water jumps are replaced with a series of thrilling canyon abseils up to 20 metres high beside waterfalls and among stunning rainforest. The canyon is narrow, steep and spectacular. Finish with a 45-minute walk through Jurassic rainforest and escarpment views.

No previous experience is necessary however all trips require a reasonable level of fitness.
