The Story Bridge Climb provides the best 360-degree panoramic view of Brisbane city from the heart and soul of Brisbane’s most iconic landmark – the Story Bridge. Your adventure begins at base camp, directly under the Story Bridge itself. After a quick pre-climb brief, you’ll depart the base and ascend a staircase that leads to the start of your adventure.
While ascending the heights, you'll learn the colorful history of the Story Bridge and Brisbane.! Venturing up through the inner Eastern bridge arm, climbing level with one of Brisbane’s busiest commuter points, you'll climb straight up the south-eastern cantilever arm that stretches over the Brisbane River and reaches up into the sky. Before you know it, you’re celebrating with your climb group on the peak platform, where you’ll get your bearings and hear the amazing stories relating to the 360 panoramic views before you. See beyond Brisbane's city scape and its surroundings, including the Glass House Mountains, Moreton Bay, and the Scenic Rim.
Venturing further along you’ll explore the bridge from a different angle, traveling approximately halfway across the river below before returning to the top platform for a final climb group photo before your descent back to base camp. Every climb to the top includes a group photograph, with additional individual photographs available for purchase afterwards - once your adrenaline has calmed down!

• Please wear comfortable, lightweight clothing and fully enclosed shoes (joggers or sneakers are ideal).
• Please be aware that all customers must register below .05 on a breathalyzer prior to climbing.
• Pregnant women up to 20 weeks may participate in the bridge climb at
their own risk.
• Children 6-16. Children 6 to 10 years 1 Adult to 1 child. Children 11-16 3 children for every 1 adult.
• Minimum height 110 cm (3'6)
• Weight for the climb is 130kg (285lbs).
• Tour operates in most weather conditions. In rain protective clothing will be provided. In the event of extreme weather activity (such as an electrical storm, high winds or hailstorm), we will do our very best to reschedule customers for another day.
