THREE NIGHTS /FOUR DAYS All inclusive private tour. Garry, your host will take you to experience Tasmania's West Coast. Immerse yourself in the remote World Heritage areas and raw nature.
This private tour is suitable for 3 adults OR a family - 2 adults and 2 children.

Tours, accommodation, travel and food included as per itinerary below.

Picking up in Hobart we begin our adventure by traversing the Derwent Valley heading into the wilderness areas of the remote west coast.

Visit Tasmania's oldest National Park- Mt Field and enjoy a casual walk through serene forest searching for pademelons, cockatoo's and whatever decides to appear!
Lunch is at Derwent Bridge before we arrive at the historic ex-mining town - Queenstown where we will spend 3 nights at the 'The Grand Old Lady of the West’ - the historic Empire Hotel.

Experience includes private tour with 'RoamWild' in Queenstown, exploring Tasmania's Wilderness World Heritage Areas, day trip to Strahan village, World Heritage Cruise and lunch on board as you cruise along the Gordon River and Macquarie Harbour.

Our trip concludes with a trip to Australia's oldest Salmon/Trout Hatchery - The Salmon Ponds, before returning to Hobart.

WEST COAST TOUR ITINERARY:

DAY 1: Depart Hobart 8:00 for Mt Field.
Enjoy our included morning tea at Mt.Field after a short walk to Russell Falls. We depart this National Park driving through picturesque Tasmanian countryside, small towns, and fabulous scenery.
Enjoy our included picnic (or BBQ) lunch at Derwent Bridge.
ARRIVE mid-afternoon at Queenstown - three nights accommodation at The Empire Hotel. Relax enjoy the "The Grand Old Lady" - The Empire. Drinks at the bar and your included Welcome Dinner

DAY 2: Today we have a private 4.5hrs- wilderness tour with Queenstown based- Roam Wild. This tour includes lunch. Return Queenstown mid afternoon. Explore this fascinating town. Plenty of Dinner options available- Dinner own expense.

DAY 3: This morning we depart for Strahan - we join - World Heritage Cruises. Included lunch on board plus cruising (4.5hrs) exploring the Gordon River. Option for early dinner in Strahan or we drive back to Queenstown.

DAY 4: Scenic drive back to Hobart via visit to the Salmon Ponds. lunch not included.
ARRIVE: Hobart late afternoon.

Guests are responsible for some meals and personal expenses. Always check weather to ensure you are dressed comfortably - the west coast is wild!
