Paronella Park: Day & Night Tour with Wildlife & Rainforest

Arriving mid afternoon welcomed by the friendly guide at Paronella Park you will learn the extraordinary story of Jose Paronella as you explore the upper level. You then have your own time to explore further the 13 acres of lush tropical landscaped gardens, the Spanish Castle, waterfalls and feeding the turtles and fish. Your Tropic Tours guide will escort and join you for dinner at the Mena Creek hotel to enjoy a authentic pub style meal. After dinner meeting back with the Paronella Park guide for the evening tour and the unforgettable illuminated light show of the Spanish Castle.

The tour begins departing Cairns heading South to our first stop at the stunning Babinda Boulders located at the foothills of Queensland’s highest mountain Bartle-Frere. Here you have the choice of an interpretive tour to the Devils Pools learning about the cultural history, wildlife, flora and fauna or cool off in the pristine waters in the swimming area.

Traveling further South we pass acres of sugarcane and banana farms surrounded by the tropical backdrop of dense rainforest mountain ranges. A scenic drive takes us through the art deco township of Innisfail and the Mourilyan Harbour before arriving at Etty Bay. Stopping for afternoon tea to take in the surrounding beauty of the Cassowary Coast you may take a beach walk, wet your feet and keep your eyes peeled for the opportunity to see the striking Southern Cassowary.

The tour departs Cairns at 11.15am and returns back into Cairns at approximately 9pm. Pick up and return to accommodation is all included in our comfortable airconditioned modern Toyota Hiace seating up to 11 passengers.
