Discover the Whitsunday Islands on a day trip from the Whitsunday area. Enjoy a picnic on Whitehaven Beach, get panoramic views from Hill Inlet Lookout, and snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef.
Get picked up from the nearest meeting point and begin your beach adventure. Board a comfortable speedboat and head to your first stop, an idyllic snorkeling location off-shore. Spend about an hour snorkeling in the fringes of the Great Barrier Reef and exploring the area's marine life.
Next, head to the world-famous Whitehaven Beach. Relax on the beach and enjoy a fresh buffet, including salad, shrimp, a meat platter, fruit salads, bread rolls, and wraps.
Hop back on the boat and head to your last stop, Hill Inlet Lookout. Spend about an hour admiring the stunning views from this perfect vantage point before returning back to shore.
From July to September, keep an eye out for humpback whales as they migrate.

You must have a moderate level of physical fitness to take part
To go snorkeling, you must be able to swim and understand general safety instructions
During wet or windy weather, you may get splashed on the speedboat
You may purchase soft drinks, water, and chocolate bars onboard for $3 (cash only)
In the winter, you may rent wetsuits for $20 per person
Parking in the marina costs $12 for the day
• You must book your shuttle transfers no later than 6:00 P.M. the day before your cruise. Pickup times will be emailed to you the day before your cruise.
• Please wait at the entrance to your pickup location 5 minutes prior to pickup times. Look for a white minibus.
• If you are not on time for your bus transfer, you will have to make your own way to Coral Sea Marina Meeting Point B by the big roundabout near Sorrento's Bar no later than 9.30 A.M.
