Day 1: Mekelle - Erta Ale
Day 1, we'll depart from Mekelle and drive through a variety of stunning landscapes, including lava rocks and sand dunes. Along the way, we'll pass through small hamlets scattered throughout the desert before reaching the Erta Ale camping site. Here, you'll have the chance to witness one of the world's most active lava lakes, which sits at an elevation of 613 meters above sea level. Afterward, we'll descend to basic camp where we'll have dinner and spend the night under the stars or in shack. It's an awe-inspiring sight that you won't want to miss!1

Day 2: Erta Ale - Hamad Ela
Day 2 of our 5-day itinerary is an unforgettable experience, as we visit the incredible Erta Ale volcano during sunrise. Witness the volcanic activities and enjoy a delicious breakfast at our campsite. Afterward, we will continue our journey to Hamad Ela with lunch on the way, before arriving in Hamad Ila for a memorable evening. Finally, proceed to Salt Lake Assale, where you can witness a breathtaking sunset reflection. ;

Day 3: Hamad Ela - Dallol - Mekelle
On day 3 of our itinerary, we'll take you to Dallol to witness the beautiful Danakil Depression. You'll visit the famous Dallol, known for its colorful geothermal fields and salt formations. We'll end the day in Mekelle, where you'll have the opportunity to experience the local culture and delicious cuisine.

Day 4: Mekelle - Hawzen
On day 4 of our itinerary, we will explore the fascinating rock hewn churches of Abreha We Atsbha Mikale Imba, and Wikro Cherkos, .
