Wine tour Areni Noravank Khor Virap Areni cave

We will have an amazing adventure today.First we will drive to Khor virap,Noravank,areni cave and wine tasting.
Our first stop is in Khor virap which is located in Ancient Artashat,the ancient capital of Armenia,also called Armenian Carthage,because the city was trusted to buit Hannibal Bark who was the leader of Carthage.Here you will see the beast view of Ararat mountain and also that is the nearest point with mountain Ararat and the border of Armenia and Turkey.In Khor Virap is located a very famous jail where St.Gregory was set and survived there 13 years.You will have the chance to enter that jail and see from inside.After we will drive to Areni village the most famous with wine making village.There we will taste different kinds of wines.After wine tasting we will drive to one of the most beautifull monasteries in Armenia Noravank monastery 13th century located high on the pink rocks and if we are lucky we can meet the wild rock goats.And the last visit is Areni cave one of the oldest in the world where was found the oldest leather shoe in the wolrd at the age of more than 5500years also wine barells at the age of 6200 years old.In Areni 1 cave the local tour guide will tell you the amazing history of the cave and show you the oldest wine barells.But the leather shoes found there you can see in Yerevan only,in the national museum of Armenia in Republic square.
