On your first day, arrive in Salta and enjoy a transfer from the airport to the hotel. Then enjoy a free city tour. On the second day, you explore the fertile Lerma Valley and pass through different towns like Cerrillos, la Merced, El Carril and Coronel Moldes. This is an important area for tobacco plantations, as you will see along the road.
Then arrive in Cafayate, a picturesque village famous for its vineyards. Here you will visit one of these vineyards and also enjoy a wine tasting. Then it is time for lunch in Cafayate. Afterwards, enjoy a tour around the city and its markets. In the afternoon, return to Salta through the Las Conchas Gorge and stop at "Posta de las Cabras", famous for its production of goat cheese.
On day 3 you will leave your hotel at 6:45 AM and head to Humahuaca. On your way, pass through different villages like Volcán, Tumbaya and Maimará. Once you arrive to Purmamarca, a village famous for the "Cerro de los Siete Colores", you will have time to visit the handicraft market and take a walk around the village. Take some free time to walk around and have lunch. In the afternoon, return to Salta through San Salvador de Jujuy, where you will get to see the main attractions of the city. On day 4, enjoy a transfer back to the airport, so you can make your flight back home.
