Walk along the main street in Blankenese to the “Stairs Neighborhood”, and wander over the staircases to the beach. As you navigate many of the nearly 5,000 stairs, you’ll hear stories about Brahms on his summer holidays, the smallest house in Blankenese, and the fisherman who brought down the pirate Störtebeker.
