Enjoy a group tour that takes in highlights of the city of Beijing. Enjoy a walk in the Forbidden City, where emperors once lived and ruled, and visit the Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace as well.
Note: Please book this tour at least 7 days in advance, because Tickets to the Forbidden City are tight all year round, once we failed to book the Forbidden City tickets, we will visit Jingshan Park on the south side of the Forbidden City, instead of the Forbidden City, standing at the top of the hill in Jingshan Park, you can still see the entire layout of the Forbidden City and the building structures.
You’ll be picked up at your Beijing's hotel between 07:00 and 08:80 and begin the full-day tour of the city’s highlights at the Forbidden City, the largest and most powerful ancient imperial palace complex in the world, with 650 years of history to discover. Your guide will take you along the central axis of the site from south to north for an hour-long tour.
After a short rest, you’ll continue on to the Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient imperial worship site in the world, where the emperors prayed for a good harvest for the farmers. On the way to Temple of Heaven, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about Chinese traditional medicine at a museum.
Following a break to enjoy a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll stop for a short visit to a pearl gallery or silk museum.
Next is a half-hour drive to the Summer Palace, which is the site of the stunning and most famous Chinese imperial garden. After about an hour of exploring the area you’ll enjoy Chinese tea ceremony at tea house before going back to your hotel.
