A one-day tour From Sofia to the largest monastery in Bulgaria, built in the 14th century, 1.5 hours from Sofia, located at the foot of the Rila mountain at an altitude of about 1100 meters above sea level, with a view from its courtyard to peaks with a height of about 2700 meters, the visit to the monastery lasts about 2.5 hours, including an explanation of the history of the monastery, there are museums to visit upon request (historical museum, Hrel tower, kitchen, guest rooms and ethnographic museum), the monastery has no entrance fee, the museums are not included in the price of the tour.The Boyan Church is located in the southern part of Sofia, the visit is before or after the Rila Monastery, depending on the reservation of time to enter it, due to the limited capacity for visitors(ticket not included on price),both places are part of the UNESCO cultural heritage, the church is a building in 3 stages of construction from 11 , 13th and 19th centuries, the wall paintings are authentic with rich colors and convey a feeling that we are in the 11th - 13th centuries.
