Visit the Chillon Castle, the most visited historical monument in Switzerland. The castle was built in the thirteenth century to control the passage along Lake Geneva. It served at times as an arsenal, prison and residence of the counts of Savoy.

The exterior of the castle also deserves the attention of visitors who take photos of it, walking around and enjoying the view. Three years ago the castle completed its exterior redevelopment program and inaugurated its cafeteria pavilion, the Byron café, where you can quench your thirst or have a small snack.
