Start your day with pickup from your hotel in Da Nang. On the way to Hue, drive through the Hai Van Tunnel, the longest tunnel in Southeast Asia at 6.28 kilometers.
Stop at Lap An Lagoon and take in the views of the brackish water lagoon, the place where local fishermen plant oysters. Visit a cafeteria with a lagoon view and taste the best Vietnamese coffee (self-pay).
Arrive in Hue and visit the Khai Dinh Tomb. Admire the most beautiful and expensive royal tomb of the 12th emperor. See how it is a mixture of Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, French, and Vietnamese architecture.
Continue to the 17th-century working Buddhist monastery of Thien Mu Pagoda, considered by many to be the unofficial symbol of the city.
