After getting picked up at the Chan May port, drive straight to Hue city then on to the other side of the Perfume River. Walk into the Imperial Citadel and the recently reconstructed Palace of Supreme Harmony.
Then, visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest Buddhist pagodas in the area. Here, learn more about Buddhism in Vietnam and discover the spiritual life. Continue your tour with a dragon boat trip on the Perfume River, picturesque on a clear day, atmospheric even in less flattering weather.
After your boat trip, savor lunch at an ancient restaurant. In the afternoon, drive straight to Minh Mang Tomb.
