Ho Chi Minh: Historical City Scooter Tour

After being collected from your hotel lobby, your tour will begin with a visit to the most famous cathedral in Ho Chi Minh City, which was built 100% from materials from France. Afterwards, you will visit a post office where you will meet a 90-year old man who is the last hand-written letter-writer in Vietnam. Following this, you will experience the War Remnant Museum. Vietnam is a country that has experienced a lot of war, and at this museum you will hear some of the unknown stories behind the wars in Vietnam.

Following this museum experience, you will visit the Thich Quang Duc Monument, a tribute to the famous monk who burnt himself to protest against the southern government in 1963. You will then move on to encounter the oldest apartment in Ho Chi Minh City, which was built from the war. Here you will see the lifestyle of local people, and hear interesting stories about its history. Next, you will visit the biggest flower market in the city. Started in 1980, the oldest and biggest flower market in Ho Chi Minh is a sleepless one, open almost 24 hours a day. Flowers here are transferred from Da Lat (the "Paris of Vietnam") each morning, and you can take a walk here to see the thousands of flowers on display.
Next up, you will encounter Vietnamese coffee. You will be taken to a 75-year-old coffee shop which has a method of making coffee that only 3 coffee shops in Vietnam use. At the tail-end of your tour, you will visit China Town, which is home to a breathtaking 300-year-old temple. With 1.5 million Chinese-Vietnamese living here for generations, China Town will display to you this culture, complete with a motorbike market, bird market, and of course, the most special 300-year-old “Thien Hau”.
