Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Full Day Trip

For those who don't have much time at Ho Chi Minh City, exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta in a 1-day tour is a popular and highly recommended option.
The Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network built by Viet Cong soldiers during the war, is a must-visit historical site in Southern Vietnam. The Mekong Delta offers a captivating holiday destination with its picturesque rural landscapes and warm, hospitable locals, attracting numerous travelers. This combined tour is perfect for those with limited time in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). However, we recommend exploring these destinations separately if you can manage your schedule accordingly.

ITINERARY
7:30 - 8:00AM The car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel or departure point to Cu Chi Tunnels.
At the Cu Chi tunnels:
- Watch a short documentary film about Cu Chi during the war (in many foreign languages options)
- Discover the cover of secret refuge and an incredible network of Cu Chi tunnels.
- Crawl through the narrow tunnels which are totally made by hand.
- Try to shoot with AK47 or M16 riffles in a well supervised area (optional with surcharge)
- Taste the main dish which locals ate during the war time: Boiled tapioca with hot pandan tea.
Next, the car will take you to Mekong Delta
In Mekong Delta:
- Cruise on the Tien river to see the fisherman’s ports and 4 islets which are represented as four mythical animals in Southeast Asia: Dragon, Kirin, Tortoise, Phoenix and visit Kirin islet for our main activities.
- Delicious Local Lunch
- Walk through orchard gardens then taste some fresh seasonal tropical fruits, and enjoy the art of “Don ca tai tu” Southern folk music which is an indispensible spiritual cultural activity in locals’ life.
- Take a short walk through a quite village to feel the countryside atmosphere.
- Enjoy Relaxing Moments With Hand-rowing Sampan Rowing Along The River
- Then the car will take you back to the hotel around 7pm
