On this 2-day tour, You will visit Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh. Enjoy boat trip to visit Ha Long Bay and Tam Coc's three caves, explore the Hoa Lu ancient capital, try kayaking and enjoy a biking tour.
Day 1: Ha Noi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave
7h30 – 8h00: The bus will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to departure for Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh. It takes more or less 2 hours from Hanoi to Hoa Lu. You will have a short break on the half way.
10h30 – 10h40: Arrive Hoa Lu ancient capital of Viet Nam. You will visit Dinh King temple and Le King temple in the 10th century, finding out the heroic histories of these two kings in Chinese Wars.
11h50 – 12h00: Having a buffet lunch with Vietnamese cuisine.
13h10 – 13h05: Get on the bus continue going to Tam Coc wharf for taking the sampan go along the Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc (three different caves).
15h25 – 15h05: Get your bicycle, bike to visit the local villages in Ninh Binh and take nice pictures of Ninh Binh countryside’s scenery.
15h30 – 15h35: Keep going to visit Mua cave. The place attracts visitors with its many interesting stories. Climb 500 stone steps, here you can see all the way to Tam Coc, enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river.
Proceed to your accommodation in Ninh Binh or Tam Coc. Dinner is served at the local restaurant, afterwards you can enjoy your evening.
Day 2: Tam Coc – Ninh Binh – Halong Bay
Have breakfast and then check-out of your hotel. Arrive at Halong harbor just before midday, and enjoy a Vietnamese set menu lunch while cruising through the most beautiful Islets on Halong bay such as Dog Islet, Incense burner Islet, and Fighting Cock Islet. Visit Sung Sot Cave (The surprising cave). Then you can take part in optional kayaking or bamboo rowing boat. Or you can relax on the big boat if you prefer to have more free time by yourself.
Next, visit Titop Island. From here, you can trek up to the peak for taking photos with a panoramic view of Ha Long bay. Finally, cruise back to the harbor for the transfer back to Hanoi in the late evening.
