Following a pick-up from your Hanoi hotel set off on a journey that provides a window into the way of life for Vietnamese fishing villages. Accompanied by your guide, you will cycle along country roads, watching rural life firsthand. There will be all manner of photo opportunities en route.
Before you set off to cast your nets, listen to a fisherman talk about his daily life over a cup of tea at his house. Your guide will explain how to use traditional nets, including lift nets and cast nets. You can even learn to paddle the strange Vietnamese boats,
Return to the home of a local family for lunch and a welcome cold beer or soft drink. Then, back on your bike, cycle to a farming village, pedaling along picturesque country roads.
