The itinerary
DAY 1: HANOI – MAI CHAU (LUNCH, DINNER)
07:30: MaiChauTourist’s car and guide will pick you up from the Old Quarter.
10:00: Stop at Thung Khe Pass to take photos and admire the majestic mountainous scenery of Hoa Binh.
11:30: Arrive at Ban Lac for a traditional lunch in a stilt house of the White Thai people. Rest before starting your Mai Chau exploration with the guide.
14:00-16:00: Join a biking tour of Mai Chau Valley, visiting small stilt houses of the Thai people to learn about their unique cultural practices and customs. Cycle through fields and villages. The guide will take you to visit traditional handicraft stalls and learn how the Thai people weave their fabrics. You can also purchase these special souvenirs as mementos or gifts for loved ones.
16:00-18:00: Free time for biking, shopping, and taking souvenir photos.
18:00: Dinner at a traditional Thai house, enjoying ethnic dishes.
19:30: Watch and participate in traditional Thai dance and singing, and try the local rice wine.
DAY 2: DISCOVER PU LUONG (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
07:30-08:00: Wake up to enjoy the sunrise and the serene atmosphere before having a light breakfast.
08:30-10:30: The guide will take you to explore the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. In the local language, Pu Luong means the highest peak in the region. Pu Luong is recognized for its significant value in terms of scientific, economic, social, and tourism aspects due to its diverse ecosystem. Visit a small Thai village, hike, and explore caves.
12:00: Arrive at Ban Hang to rest and have lunch.
13:00-14:00: Continue exploring the Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
15:00: Return to Ban Lac, bid farewell to the beautiful Mai Chau, and head back to Hanoi.
18:30-19:00: Arrive back at the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

Recommended items to bring: insect repellent, toothbrush, toothpaste, and a personal towel if necessary, as mountain living conditions are more limited compared to large cities.
The itinerary may be adjusted based on the specific departure date, but all the sightseeing points in the program will be covered.
For convenience, it is best to bring a backpack or a small suitcase. Please avoid bringing large suitcases as the largest vehicle we use for mountain tours is the Hyundai County 29-seater, which does not have space for oversized luggage.
Changes to the departure date must be reported at least 3 days prior to the scheduled departure. The first change of departure date is allowed free of charge.
