Your adventure starts with your experienced tour guide meeting you at your hotel or fixed pickup location in Boston for a comfortable journey that will transport you back in time to the events of April 1775. Learn about the history of the beginning stages of the American Revolution. See Cambridge (MIT, Harvard Square and Harvard College & University), Cambridge Common (where General Washington assumed command of the Continental Army), Washington's Headquarters, and travel the historic road out to Lexington and Concord.
At Lexington Battle Green see the Buckman Tavern, the iconic Minuteman statue of Captain Parker. Enjoy several scenic stops along Battle Road, maintained by the National Park Service, the Hartwell Tavern, Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House, Walk the Old North Bridge in Concord; the location of the "Shot Heard 'Round the World"; heralding the beginning of the American War for Independence.
Enjoy the Minute Man National Historical Park Visitor Center (20 minute 3-D movie) to learn about the revolution against Mother England. Explore the battlefields, taverns and homes that witnessed the events of that historic day.
