Day 1: Las Vegas – Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign - Barstow Outlets - Los Angeles
Depart for a round trip to Los Angeles. Stop at the iconic "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign for a photo opportunity (around half an hour). Then, leave the bustling city of Las Vegas and head to Los Angeles. On the way, stop at the Barstow Outlets for a meal (own expense) and some shopping (around 2 hours).
Day 2: Los Angeles - Coast Starlight Train - Santa Barbara - Solvang - Hearst Castle - Elephant Seal Beach
Start your day with the hotel's included breakfast. Take the Amtrak Coast Starlight Train to Santa Barbara (about 2.5 hours). Visit the charming towns of Santa Barbara and Solvang (about an hour each). Explore Hearst Castle (about 2 hours), the grand estate of media mogul William Hearst. Enjoy coastal views along Highway 1 with an overnight stay by the beach. See Monterey Bay and drive the famous 17-Mile Drive.
Day 3: 17-MileDrive-Carmel-by-the-Sea-Monterey Bay-Silicon Valley-San Francisco
Begin with breakfast provided by your hotel. Tour Apple and Google in Silicon Valley. Visit San Francisco landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf. Walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
