During our historic Philadelphia walking tour, we’ll pass by Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution were born. We’ll also get a chance to see one of the most iconic artifacts from the American War of Independence, the Liberty Bell, from outside its home inside Liberty Bell Center.
Other historic buildings in Old City, Philadelphia, we’ll pass on our tour include the very place where the American flag was created, the Betsy Ross House, and the site where inventor and statesman Benjamin Franklin lived and operated his post office.
Your local tour guide will take you down cobblestone streets and past row houses dating back to the city’s Revolutionary War period. You’ll feel transported back in time as you stroll down Elfreth’s Alley, the nation's oldest continuously inhabited residential street.

This is a walking tour that is primarily outside. The tour runs year-round and will proceed rain or shine unless such weather constitutes a dangerous situation
In the event of a site closure, your guide will do their best to replace it with a similar alternative
All guests ages 5 and up will be required to show proof of vaccination to attend this tour (guests 18 and up must also show a matching valid ID). An original CDC vaccination card or a photo or electronic copy of the card are all acceptable forms of documentation. Proof of a negative COVID test will not be accepted. Additionally, masks are required for visitors ages 2 and up while inside the Museum of the American Revolution

If you are driving to the tour, please allow extra time to find parking. There are several parking lots and decks throughout Old City. Street or metered parking is not recommended as the maximum time allowed is 2 hours, which is less time than the tour duration.
