At the end of the lesson you should be able to go out to any spot and enjoy stand up paddling on your own.

This lesson takes place at a beautiful beach just outside of Waikiki in calm flat water that is perfect for learning. Stand up paddling is a perfect water sport that you can enjoy with your family or friends and is also great for couples. It’s safe, easy, fun, and a great workout too.

You’ll get an explanation of the different materials used for this sport, including boards, paddles, leashes, and fins. You’ll also learn different techniques used to carry a SUP board, basic paddling techniques, basic turning techniques, water safety techniques, and how to position your legs, arms, shoulders, and body.
