Your punting tour begins 30 minutes after the conclusion of your walking tour if you do not purchase the King's College option, and 90 minutes later if you do. Meeting Point: Entrance of King's College on King's Parade. Look for your guide with a royal blue element (a hat, a uniform, a shirt) with the Alumni Tours crest. Arrive 5 minutes early. For punting, the meeting point is Scudamore's on Mill Lane, CB2 1RS.
Tour Details:
- Duration: 1.5 hours; basic fitness required.
- Wheelchair accessible. For punting, the wheelchair/buggies are left at the station.
- Wear suitable clothing for potentially muddy terrain.
- Only in the college premises, no pets are allowed (guide dogs exempt).
- No scheduled breaks; use the restroom before.
- Guides are Cambridge students with clear English, but different accents.
- Full refund for cancellations made > 24 hours in advance. No refunds for delays/cancellations due to reasons beyond our control.
- The option "King's College Chapel" is not included in the standard ticket. Please, make sure you select it to visit. With the Chapel, punting is 3 h. after the tour ends; without the Chapel, it is 2 h. after.
