Join this 5-day tour through Cornwall & the Cotswolds a journey of beautiful scenery, winding country lanes, unique history and authentic local flavours.
DAY ONE:

The adventure begins by departing London and heading towards the first stop, Stonehenge; the world’s most famous stone circle. Thought to be 4,500 years old, it’s origin is still not fully understood. Next, journey to the medieval city of Salisbury where you can visit the Cathedral, see the Magna Carta, explore the charming city centre and have lunch. This afternoon, travel to the south coast to visit the seaside town of Lyme Regis, part of the Jurassic Coast. Then it's on to the Roman city of Exeter, where you’ll will spend the first night of this tour.

DAY TWO:

Start the day by travelling through the beautiful scenery of Dartmoor National Park; known for its infamous prison, Sherlock Holmes connection and native Dartmoor ponies. Next, travel to Plymouth; from here the Pilgrim Fathers departed for the New World. Whilst here explore Plymouth’s harbour, Barbican, find the ‘Mayflower Steps’ and have lunch. This afternoon it’s time to cross the ‘border’ into Cornwall to visit the quaint village of Polperro; an active fishing community where smuggling once thrived. Then it’s a short trip to the historic port of Charlestown; a main location in TV series Poldark. Now, travel to the harbour town of Falmouth, where we’ll spend two-nights.

DAY THREE:

Today we travels to the far reaching corners of Cornwall. First we see the iconic St Michaels Mount; an island that’s been home to a monastery since at least the 8th century. Next, beware of pirates as you make your way to the Minack Theatre. This place is a wonderful story of English eccentricity, set in a spectacular location that would rival any theatre in the world. Next stop is Britain's most westerly location, Lands End where we gaze out over the Atlantic Ocean. We'll also visit t he popular seaside town, St Ives; an important fishing settlement and now a haven for artists, where you can stroll along the cobbled lanes or beach-front. Then it's time to return to Falmouth.

DAY FOUR:

Journey towards the spectacular North Atlantic Coast. First stop is charming fishing village of Port Isaac. Here, explore a village that’s also known by its fictional name ‘Portwenn’; this is where the hit TV series Doc Martin is filmed. You may wish to join the optional walking tour. Then, continue along the coast to Tintagel; once home to an ancient castle that legend suggests was the birthplace of King Arthur. After this, return to Exeter for the night.

DAY FIVE:

The final day of our voyage begins by visiting the beautiful city of Bath. Legend suggests the waters here possess healing powers, so be sure to visit the Roman Baths, as well as see the beautiful Georgian architecture and Jane Austen centre. After time to explore Bath, travel into the the Cotswolds; an area of outstanding natural beauty. Your next stop is Castle Combe, possibly the most picture-perfect village in the region. Now it's time to make our way back towards London, where the adventure concludes.
