Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick-up and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After breakfast you will be picked up from your location in Entebbe or Kampala and transferred to the national park. The drive to the park is approximately 5-6 hours, and along the way, you will get to see the stunning scenery of Uganda’s countryside. You will have a stopover at the equator have an exciting experience of standing both in northern and southern hemispheres.
Then after the equator experience you will again embark on your journey driving to Mbarara city and along the way you will stop for lunch break. Once you arrive at the park, you will check into your lodge and relax for a while before setting out on an evening game drive. During the game drive, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and many other species.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Launch Cruise along Kazinga Channel.
Morning Game Drive, on the second day of the safari, after your breakfast. You will straightaway start the day with an early morning game drive. The drive will certainly take you to different parts of the park. Where you will have the chance to see different animals and birds in their natural habitats. You will stand a chance to see animals for instance the shy leopard, lions, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas, baboons, Kobs (antelopes), monkeys, hippos, and crocodiles among others. The park is a birdwatcher’s paradise and is home to over 612 bird species, making it a popular destination for birders.
.Afternoon Launch Cruise along Kazinga Channel.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy an unforgettable launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Later after the cruise you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge and Transfer Back Kampala (Entebbe Airport).
On the final day of the safari, after your breakfast. You will participate in a chimpanzee tracking experience in the Kyambura Gorge. This exciting adventure will take you deep into the forest. Furthermore, where you will have the chance to see these fascinating primates in their natural habitat. Later pack your bags, and head back to Entebbe or Kampala. The drive back to Entebbe or Kampala will take approximately 5 – 6 hours, and you will arrive in the late afternoon.
