Uçhisar Castle Panorama; The first spot on our Cappadocia red tour is Uçhisar Castle, the castle is located at the highest point of central Cappadocia and it mesmerizes you with its breathtaking landscape.

Zelve Open Air Museum was a monastic retreat between the 9th and 13th centuries.The site was inhabited until 1952 when villagers were relocated to nearby Aktepe due to safety concerns. Cappadocia’s first seminaries to train priests are located here at the monastery. Dating back to the early years of monastery life in Zelve is the Direkli Church.

Avanos (pottery demonstration); Many town men are talented in making ceramic and pottery in Avanos. Pottery has been delivered in this area as far back as around 2000 BC, the time of the Hittites.

Imagination Valley (aka Devrent Valley); This unique spot is loaded with fairy chimneys that resemble some specific things like animals and figures.

Paşabag (Monks Valley); This place is one of the most interesting ones with its three-headed colossal fairy chimneys. The hermits that used to live there were inspired by Saint Simeon and carved their cells admiring his way of life.
