Your day starts with a visit to an old mosque in Bayir Village. Here, you'll be welcomed by the priest from the mosque and informed about ritual customs. While in Bayir village, you can sample the local honey in the shade of the 2000-year-old plane tree. If your visit falls within term time, you can also pay a visit to the local school and talk to some of the local children.
Your next stop is the village of Turgut with a lovely canyon with a centuries-old watermill. After having lunch, you will be hosted by a local family offering apple and oregano teas in their traditional house. A visit to the tranquil beach of Orhaniye tops off this exceptional day.
