Depart from Chiang Mai to visit the local village to understand the process of traditional weaving and try it for yourself! Taste local food & desserts. The trip also visits the Fishery & Forestry Project initiative by the beloved late king Bhumibhol.
Benefit from hotel pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai city center. This trip will bring you to Sankampang Village where the villagers try to maintain their weaving traditions for the next generation. You will learn and experience the process from the beginning to the final stage of the master fabric piece where you can try weaving by yourself.
The program also offers a local dessert cooking class which, again, you will be the one who is involved in the cooking process.
The trip is the combination of the village visit together with things that support the community including the Fishery Project and the Forestry Project. Lunch with drinking water with the villagers is included in the program. After the day is completed, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
