Zanzibar: Prison lsland, Nakupenda Beach and Stone Town Tour

This is the full day package tours of PRISON ISLAND with the nearest sandbank known as NAKUPENDA SANDBANK and STONE TOWN TOUR, on the same day you will visit both three unique places.
Our Driver will pick you up from hotel at 8:00am after the breakfast then heading direct to the stone town, after that take a boat ride from Stone Town, straight to the illustrious historic prison of Changuu Island, known commonly as Prison Island. Explore the ancient prison ruins which were erected by the British colony of Zanzibar.

Then, visit a sanctuary for Aldabra tortoises – one of the largest tortoises in the world, weighing up to 200 kilos, also known to be one of the longest-living creatures in the world. Learn about these giant land tortoises that were brought to Zanzibar from Seychelles.

Also spot peacocks with large and brilliant feathers which have made them the symbol of beauty, royalty, and good fortune for Prison Island. Interact with these amazing creatures and take pictures.

At the end of the tour , you will get back on the boat and sail you off to Nakupenda Sandbank, at Nakupenda Sandbank and it’s crystal clear blue waters, ideal for Snorkeling, sunbathing, swimming and enjoying on the beautiful white sand for relaxing.later, be treated to a fresh BBQ seafood lunch alongside seasonal tropical fruits and soft drinks.

The underwater world at Nakupenda Sandbank is incredible spectacular,there are countless colourful fishes and other Sea creatures that survive among the coral reefs and underwater plants which together form the barrier ecosystem.

At the end of the tour, you will make your way back to stone town and go back to Stone Town.

The Stone Town it’s the historical sites which show us the dates back in 19th century with influencing of different cultures as Arabs, Persian, Indian and European culture, Stone town was declared officially by UNESCO as world heritage sites since 2000, Some tours highlights are Darajani Market, Slave Market Site, House of Wonders and many others, Also you will visit the stone town shops selling local souvenirs after ending tour in stone town, backing to your hotel.
