Embark on a guided tour of Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park and see the Rock Restaurant. Get the chance to see the different types of vegetation, animals, and insects in the park, and learn about sea turtle conservation at the aquarium.
After arriving at Jozani, follow your guide into the forest to start the tour. See the different types of vegetation, such as ground water forest, coral area, and swamp area. Look out for animals like the Red Colobus monkey, which is unique to Zanzibar with less than 2000 species remaining in the world, as well as the blue monkey, elephant shrew, and others.
Continue to the Rock Restaurant, an extraordinary seafood restaurant located on a rock in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Take some nice holiday pictures and relax over a local food lunch (a prior reservation is required, the price of lunch or dinner is not included).
Connect with the local people and see the culture of Africa through dance and local music. Finally, visit the aquarium to learn about sea turtle conservation and rehabilitation programs, as well as observe the turtles up close.
