Renowned for its breathtaking scenery, the Lemosho route offers panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro from various angles, making it an ideal choice for trekking enthusiasts. This route is relatively new, adding to the allure of adventure.

Starting from the west, our tour kicks off with a scenic drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate. Over the first two days, you'll trek through lush rainforests, gradually ascending to Shira Ridge. The Lemosho route then meanders across the expansive Shira Plateau, offering a relatively flat and enjoyable hike.

Encounter fewer crowds until the path converges with the Machame route near Lava Tower. The journey continues beneath Kilimanjaro's Southern Ice Field along the Southern Circuit before reaching the summit from Barafu. For the descent, we follow the Mweka route.

At Kilinge Adventures, we offer the Lemosho route as an eight-day group climb or a seven to eight-day private climb. Our seven-day option combines days five and six, allowing you to proceed directly from Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp without a stop at Karanga.
