One-day Kilimanjaro Marangu Route adventure promises a whirlwind of breathtaking sights and exhilarating experiences. The journey begins at the Marangu Gate, where you'll meet your expert guides and fellow adventurers, all buzzing with anticipation for the ascent ahead.
Itinerary Details:
Early Morning Departure: Depart from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha early in the morning after breakfast. The drive to the Marangu Gate takes about an hour.
Registration at Marangu Gate: Upon arrival at the gate, you will register with the park authorities. This is also where you will meet your guide and porters.
Start Trekking to Mandara Hut: Begin your trek through the lush rainforest. The trail is well-maintained and offers opportunities to see various flora and fauna, including Colobus monkeys.
Lunch at Mandara Hut: After approximately 3-4 hours of hiking, you will reach Mandara Hut, where you can enjoy a packed lunch while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Return Hike to Marangu Gate: After lunch and some rest, begin your descent back to the Marangu Gate. The return journey will take another 3-4 hours.
Drive Back to Moshi/Arusha: Once you reach the gate, you will complete any necessary paperwork before driving back to your hotel.
