Day 1 - Arusha or Moshi > Arusha National Park

This 3 days mid-range safari lets you maximize your time to view Tanzania wildlife in comfort, this trip features a visit to the stunning Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire NP and Arusha NP. Sit back and relax as Tanzania's stunning landscape unrolls beneath you.

Route : Arusha or Moshi > Arusha NP > Tarangire NP > Ngorongoro crater > Arusha, Moshi or Zanzibar

We will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Moshi, Arusha or upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro/Arusha airports in a 4X4 Safari jeep to Arusha national park. Although the park is just a few kilometers from Arusha town and despite its small size but it has a rich variety of wildlife, You will start with a walking safari inside the park accompanied by an Armed ranger, Short walks normally takes 1-2 hours and Long walks goes up to 6 hours ( long walks should be arranged in Advance ).

Common animals in this park include giraffe, Cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black-and-white Columbus monkey, the blue monkey, flamingos, elephant and many other African animals. Leopard populations are present, but rarely seen. Bird life in the forest is prolific, with many forest species more easily seen here than elsewhere on the tourist route

Day 2 - Tarangire NP

We will depart from Arusha after breakfast for the approximately 2 hours drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way you'll pass bustling Maasai villages and the vast open plains that have become synonymous with images of Africa.
Once you've entered Tarangire, you'll begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. The river itself runs throughout the year and is a vital source of water for the animals of the region during the dry season. Lined with acacia and Baobab trees, the river is regularly visited by the park's large elephant population as well as other herbivores such as zebras and antelopes which attracts the predators. In the late afternoon we will drive to karatu town for dinner and overnight. We can stop by a Maasai village on the way to Karatu.

Day 3 - Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast you will be one of the very first vehicles descending the six hundred meters (2,000ft) into the Ngorongoro crater for superb game viewing.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, formed 2 to 3 million years ago when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself. Today, the flat floor is covered in nutritious grasses and home to an unprecedented number of black rhino as well as black-maned lions, magnificent tuskers, and smaller plains game..
Spend the day exploring the crater on game drives, then after we will drive back to Arusha, Moshi or drop you at the Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Extra days to Serengeti national park can be arranged in advance.
